A Key Management Algorithm Based on Two-tier Architecture in Wireless Ad Hoc Network

چکیده
In this paper, a novel key management model and algorithm for two-tier architecture network are proposed based on elliptic curve cryptosystem (ECC) combined with public key (CPK) technology, verifiable secret sharing technology, and two-tier architecture network technology. This novel key management algorithm is composed of several sub-algorithms, such as key generation, key update, nodes joining operation and nodes leaving operation. Most of these sub-algorithms contain active malicious nodes recognizing mechanisms. Also, the updates of pair key and private-seed-key matrix shadow are able to improve the network security significantly. The experimental results and analysis indicate that our proposed algorithm not only provides better network security, but also improves the efficiency compared with the other counterparts in Ad hoc network.

Broadcast Routing in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks: A Particle Swarm optimization Approach
While routing in multi-hop packet radio networks (static Ad-hoc wireless networks), it is crucial to minimize power consumption since nodes are powered by batteries of limited capacity and it is expensive to recharge the device. This paper studies the problem of broadcast routing in radio networks. Given a network with an identified source node, any broadcast routing is considered as a directed...
متن کاملThe Feedback Based Mechanism for Video Streaming Over Multipath Ad Hoc Networks
Ad hoc networks are multi-hop wireless networks without a pre-installed infrastructure. Such networks are widely used in military applications and in emergency situations as they permit the establishment of a communication network at very short notice with a very low cost. Video is very sensitive for packet loss and wireless ad-hoc networks are error prone due to node mobility and weak links. H...

Mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs), providing infrastructure-free wireless instant communication, play important role in tactical military networks. However, providing security in tactical military MANETs, having very large and dynamic structure without infrastructure support in hostile environments, is a very difficult task. In order to address security problems in tactical military MANETs, we pr...

We present a new approach for routing in multi-tier heterogeneous wireless mobile ad hoc networks. This protocol, namely multi-virtual backbone protocol (MVP), naturally addresses key challenges arising from multi-tier wireless networks such as the coverage asymmetry and node heterogeneity. It also supports various QoS needs by constructing and maintaining QoS-specific virtual backbone infrastr...

The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Cluster basedcross layer intelligent service discovery for MANET (CBISD) is cluster based architecture, caching ofsemantic details of services and intelligent forwarding using network layer mechanisms. The cluster basedarchitecture using semantic knowledge provides scalability and accuracy. Also, the mini...
